The SmallRig Tripod Mounting Kit with 2 x Plates and 2 x 15mm Rod Clamps is designed with two mounting plates, enabling you to offset the weight of a front-heavy camera rig so the rig remains balanced on your tripod. Two 15mm LWS rod clamps can be used separately or together on the baseplate to support camera accessories.
The baseplates feature non-slip top surfaces, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounts, and thumb-lever locks. A center slot provides 1.6" of front-to-back adjustment for optimally positioning your camera on the baseplate.

MOUNTING PLATE FOR CAMERA: SmallRig Base Plate 1798 features two solid and durable aluminum plates with two 15mm rod clamps. It can be attached to a camera, cage, or tripod via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws. It provides a secure and stable platform and adds mounting holes to attach accessories.

15mm ROD CLAMPS: There are two 15mm LWS rod clamps on the bottom of the base plate for matte box, lens support and follow focus. It enables the use of accessories for the standard 15mm rod system. Wingnuts help to conveniently mount or release rods.

ADJUSTABLE DESIGN: The groove allows 40mm adjustment for balance control of the camera.

MULTIPLE MOUNTING POINTS: The mounting plate features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes that provide mounting points for more DIY possibilities. An Allen wrench is included for tightening the mounts for further security.
